I am a trainee tutor and since the beginning of 2021 I have been building my skills in this area, specialising in maths, as well as gaining experience helping children and adults with their learning. In 2019 I decided to embark on this career change, looking for something that I felt would be rewarding as well as of interest and enjoyment to me. I have always been strong in maths so brushed up on my skills by retaking my Maths GCSE and having gained that, I went on to further my skills by gaining my English City and Guilds National Diploma Level 2. I have now started a training course in Study Skills and Education. Whilst undergoing this training, I charge a reduced trainee rate. This lower rate offers a welcome, more affordable option for parents.
I am very conscientious about how my students are doing and take pride in doing my best to help them do their best. I have been enjoying tutoring enormously and am looking forward to building on the experience I have already recently gained and applying my new skills from my training to help others with their learning.
